US Thanksgiving Day

 Forgot to post this last Thursday.  I went to the Lion's Thanksgiving Day game and then when I got home the family went to BG for a nice buffet.

Kona Sushi

 On Saturday we went out with Bubs and Joanne for Kona sushi in Tecumseh.  Have not been there before.  It was fun and then we went to the Bourbon for a couple.  Never been there either.

Thanksgiving in Milwaukee

It has been quite a bit since we have gone to Jovo and Annie's for Thanksgiving.  With Covid and Aleksei's hockey we have missed out lately.  Soph and I have been going there since we first started dating.  Here are some pics from our trip to Milwaukee for Thanksgiving.

Erika gets her full drivers license

 We drove up to Chatham today so she could take her G license.  She passed.  Forgot to take a pic so here is one of here from June 17 2013.   She will kill me but as Cole's father said Too Tall.

McGregor 5K Mug Run

 Last Sunday I raced a 5k with Matt and Sinisa.  Matt was first, Sinisa seventh and I was ninth.

 We had a nice dinner at Beach Grove to celebrate Aleksei's 17th birthday.  Erika's boyfriend Zach took the picture.

 Had a nice dinner yesterday over in the US on  Canadian peso at par night.

Dana and Jacob's Wedding

 Today was our 22nd wedding anniversary.  We went to Soph's good friend's son Jacob's wedding.

It was both Tata and Erika's birthday today and one of them turned 19.  Happy birthday Nehknee.

New Ride

 Well we gave up on my convertible Mustang as the delays were going to make it not possible this summer so we went with another convertible off the lot.

49 Years Ago

 Today marks the passing of my mother 49 years ago today.  She was taken far too early.  Miss you Mom.  Here is a pic of her and my Didi with me.  It is taken at Point Pelee.  The second one of just the two of us. 

Vouche Back To Ottawa

 Vouche left this morning back to Ottawa.  We had a nice breakfast at BG.

30 Years Ago

 I just wanted to post a picture of my Dad and myself when I was in grade 9.  I had just won the Sandwich Midget Relays 400m.  This was 1980.  My Dad passed on 30 years ago today.  He died in my arms.  I miss you Dad. Vjechnaya Pamyat.

Here is another one of the two of us but I am just a bit younger.

I looked up what I posted in my dad's obit.

Vouche is in Town

 Vouche is in town for the Forester 100th reunion.  It rained hard last night for a bit but there was a beautiful double rainbow.

Mexican Town

 We went last Monday to Mexican Town for the day after Mother's Day.  We met Glen H.  Had a good time.  Forgot to post but better late than never.

Aleksei had ACL surgery yesterday

 

It was a long day yesterday for all concerned.  Up to London for ACL surgery.  He only yaked  a couple of times on the car ride back but luckily we had bags.  Here is Mr Creosote doing a reenactment of that.

Look what the boy got today.  So as a present for getting his license he gets to go to London for ACL knee surgery.

Pre Valentine and Soph Birthday at Beach Grove

 Last night the Hnidei family went to BG for dinner.  After being lockdown because of covid it was nice to get out at 50% capacity.  Kids are getting big.

 This game actually took place on Dec 2nd or 3rd.  Sorry just getting around to it as it was his last game of hockey for the year and hopefully he will recover.  You will see in the last video

First shift in the box.  Good hit.  Zebra did not need to call a penalty.

This last vid is when he blows his knee.  It turns out it is his ACL and he will need surgery in London, hopefully soon.
